Ann: Update - Notification of buy-back - BRK, page-5

The announcement indicates 29/12/23 as the end of the buy back. I think Jakes reasoning is sound. Yes they don't need to buy back all the shares or it could be extended, but it is a fairly modest buyback to start with. And it wouldn't indicate any conviction on behalf of the company to not buy back the indicated shares in the indicated time frame. It would seem a huge opportunity loss if they didn't buy back the shares. We are still in the dark with what plans if any the company has for use of the capital. There is some interesting predictions as to what the company will do but we just don't know. That is a huge uncertainty going forward.
