Asia will always be there as the core part of their strategy with their most advanced projects. It is true it will require some extra cash although it may mean PAM gets more attention if they can get some easy resources defined and could easily save cash in the long term with a higher SP.
It isn't some random land grab projects to get attention. I like some diversity outside of Thailand with quality projects that match their strategy and strict criteria (low cost, chemical production, close to infrastructure, etc)
