Well 10 months down the track and look where PPT is !
How damaging to Regal might this have been if they had succeeded in their non-binding offer?
How well does the market think PPT have performed & will perform for their Shareholders?
Reflecting on what the PPT management thought when the offer was on the table:
https://www.marketindex.com.au/news/perpetual-soars-after-saying-no-thanks-to-regals-takeover-bid
A Key Point:
"Perpetual believes Regal's non-binding $30 per share offer materially undervalues the group"
If PPT are correct in their value expectations?, is it only a matter of time before someone else thinks they can have a stab at PPT?
Are there others that can extract value from PPT OR is it now too complicated to devour?
