i would think that fact the mgmt themselves want to change the charging basis for processing someone elses ore says it all about what they think about making a loss on the deal. If you can't make a profit from it, don't do it. The only caveat was this running-the-mill-in concept...perhaps they thought there was a risk of low recoveries initially, and informed La Mancha of this, and La Mancha were still happy to proceed, and ending up doing ok out of it.
