Because it gives their suitors a commercial advantage to their competitors, and makes the tech more attractive to potential clients imo.
If they're screaming from the rooftops look what we have etc.. you certainly dont give yourself the element of surprise. The performance they are achieving are no doubt talking points with clients who go under MoUs or NDAs
