I think they didn't lodge last time they were suspended. I'd check but it's wearisome going through all the (non) compliance checks with this entity. So many.
In regards to the conflict of interest, I think you're right regarding MARS, although I've seen angel/seed investors that are known to be director related, enter into contracts with another entity, or even a binding buy-in of another company. Times have changed.
CGB are voluntarily suspended, and I assume involuntarily suspended due to the lack of compliance with listing rules - eg. quarterlies etc.
I can only imagine they are using the system and nowadays, don't even read their mail.
No EGM is possible due to the share structure, so nothing can be done.
Mind you, for instance, some Sydney stockbrokers could call one to replace the board.
It would take a lot of lobbying.
I've seen that before.
