My current understanding falls inline with the fact Alameda-1 encountered higher pressure intervals than what was tested in Alameda-2, given the latter deviated some half a km away and 200meters updip, Unit 3 tested in A2 may have encountered a smaller lower pressure compartment compared to A1. The rationale, as my understanding from the webinar is, that the deeper part of Unit 1B lies below the purple fault they currently call unit 2. The flow rates above the purple fault in 1B bode extremely well for unit 2 below the purple fault as the pressures were greater down there than the cover units above as Errol mentioned and can see why AP is entertaining the idea of re-entering.
