I worked out this strategy that I thought might work:

1. Buy speccy stock with potential at low entry price and load up.

2. Follow speccy and watch that potential turn into serious $ with exploration bonanza finds, and JV's/takeover.

3. Sell speccy when a sizable profit has been attained.

4. Invest huge profits in blue chip dividend loaded shares.

5. Lay back on the beach, drink pina-coladas, think about big fat dividend cheques, and contemplate what a wonderful life I have with this beautiful woman by my side (may or may not be Wife).

So far I've got up to step one. My step two has changed to "Average down as much as I dare, whilst share price goes lower, and lower, and lower, and lower, and lower..."

Step three you already know - chuck them in the drawer and hope.
