If you took a new technology to Boeing or Airbus that saved 5% fuel consumption - they would pay hand over fist for it. It's not the percentage of the saving, it's the sheer scale of the industry that makes that saving attractive - fuel is the airline industry's single largest expense.

Datacentres use 1.1 to 1.5% of global electricity production - that is a huge amount of energy. An energy dependent industry that uses TWhs of electricity every year.

If you can provide a tech that can save datacentres 10% energy costs - they would do the same as Airbus or Boeing.

If that tech can be made plug and play to existing architecture (DIMM boards with 4DS RERAM instead of DRAM) it's a no brainer.

The energy saving measure rings down through the design of the datacentre - you can either size your grid connection smaller, your cooling systems smaller, or take an existing facility and jam more equipment into it.

You lack vision on the potential of this.
