Ok buddy. I drive a diesel 4x4 and i live rurally. There isnt going to be an electric car available for me for a long time...even longer for a hydrogen powered car.
I need a tradesman ute, with towing capacity. So no, I'm not a latte sipping wanka.
But, I do know that the fill speeds for a hydrogen car wont really improve and i do know how easily it leaks through flanges, welded joints, valves, gaskets. Goodluck. There's a tonne of energy expended in compressing and pressurising hydrogen..extremely wasteful.
Now that Lavo unit. If you were going to build solar for your house, you need to upside it significantly to account for the loss of energy through conversion and storage. It's also more than double the price of a battery of the same size. Dozens more parts to manufacture.
