Whoever actually thought new sales of ICE vehicles would be banned in a short ~10 years was drinking the media's and politician's coolaid.

It's all politics, nothing more. The infrastructure required to fully support EV's is mind boggling, and will not happen in that short time period. People got to turn off Fox News and start thinking for themselves.

Also love the whole sales pitch about EVs being cheaper... Yet total savings is still with (and will be for a time yet) comparable ICE vehicles and will be many years before seeing any savings on an EV.

Also wait until the government starts implementing excise levies on charging stations/electricity for charging. Savings will be negligible. But at least global warming will slow down in the next 50 years

Government aint giving up $14 billion dollars in tax revenue per year for the sake of being green, that's a guarantee.

Still a way yet, but hydrogen will be the future, IMO. Cleaner, easily equipped to current infrastructure, no impossible load on the electricity grid, and can be produced from the most abundant substance on earth - water.

At least Duracell will still have a need for lithium.

That was a joke before the cheer squad lose their minds. There'll be a place for both when it comes to vehicles.
