Whether they physically did or not is beside the point. The threat and siding with the Soviet Union, and by all reports still being in bed with Russia to this day, is why they’re still in the current situation. Point is, MAY has made a fantastic discovery and will be rewarded handsomely, as will investors. This will not change much with Cuba’s political situation, nor will it make them financially independent as was the original claim. By all means knock yourself out if that’s what you want to believe though.
