You may need to be a bit clearer. ASIC records total outstanding short positions (64.2M atm). ASX records Daily Gross short positions. These are always smaller than the ASIC numbers and they never report a drop in shorts (which ASIC do). So not really sure what to make of the ASX numbers as theres no description, just a table.
