What seems to be lost to our elected representatives is; what would have happened had all those who sit on this most important of bodies, the National Security Council were they all to send their body guards into a meeting of the NSC in their stead?

I can see it now. Ex Federal cop says to ex pub bouncer, "I recon we should invade Indonesia......what ya recon? Yeh great idea......got the number of the head of defense?"
