So you're fine with a potential 2 year stalemate with the Boric government?
And the constant defence of the project in court against persistent challenges. Whilst the company is admittedly in what appears to be a strong position legally so far, it just takes one crafty lawyer to luck into some angle which could complicate, derail or drag things out, causing more uncertainty for potential partners and investors.
What is happening to this company feels criminal and almost looks like a war of attrition from various levels of the government and community.
Thankfully the justice system in Chile (so far} has maintained the rule of law, but the persistent cloud over the company means the threat of a corrupt administrator or judge makes investing here as much an act of faith as it is of sound research.
Anyways, I'm regretfully nah holding 1/10th of my largest holding, and I'm thankful my exposure is decreased, but it's not insignificant, and my losses are much more than I'd like.
