re: ion follow Yeah Simon Engineering used to be Simon Carves, they have been in a niche industry specialiseation for years, acid plants etc and now HWE wants them to install roundabout lights in Darwin, HWE got too big too quick, they are still at heart a little Darwin based company playing with the big boys. I reckon Simon Engineering will be sold off, probably to someone like Downers ,or Leightons would jump at them as 60-70%of Simon's work used to be for Leightons but obviously when HWE bought them, well LEI aren't going to give work to their opposition now are they!!. Thats my two bobs worth, I know abit more about them then most I guess.
