IMO Tesla who is significantly dependant on China for bottom line profit
will likely get a jolt once Toyota and VW get their EV acts together.
The market cap of Tesla vis a vis Toyota is absurd, IMO, and from
2025 onwards when Toyota produces a Hybrid or an EV equivalent
of every model it produces now .
IMO Tesla's market cap will wither back to sub $200 billion.
That said is Tesla a good long term short?
Toyota has profited from its Hybrids/plug-in hybrids and IMO
its EV production will ramp-up over the next 5 years when
western markets have adequate charging infrastructure in place
and when the vast majority have made the "culture shift" to EVs .
PS: Ive seen a few large BYDs on the road recently
