I am NO EXPERT but what i have read about SCs is that in simple terms a superconductor has zero (or near zero) resistance to electricity. That means it can transmit electrical current very quickly. The issue is though that has to be done at very cold temperatures. A superconductor will also push out magnetic fields and if you google some YouTubes you will see how it levitates objects and can kind of lock in their positioning (like a SciFi tractor beam) So if V can be used in this context it does open up a bunch more doors perhaps ... not anytime soon i expect though....!?
