I'm with you. I am very much in favor of going carbon neutral and using some profits to do so. But at the end of the day the board presents the strategic plan (unanimously apparently) and management delivers that strategy to a budget approved by the board. The board hires and fires the CEO and that where it should stop IMO. I hope the board is not operational especially AF as this could be seen as a conflict of interest at worst and obstructing at best. I personally have been part of a board where some very strong personalities wanted to direct the CEO how to operate the company beyond strategy. Micro manage. To many cooks in the kitchen do not work, believe me. I'm in favor of AF providing good PR and presenting FMG as a leader in this industry but using FMG to save the world I am not in favor of. After reading the transcript it does seem to indicate that the investment return test is being applied but Twiggy needs to understand he is perceived as FMG more than Dr AF. I hope he respects the shareholders as much as he respects the planet. I think there are a lot of opportunities in Green energy and he is no dummy. Balance and better communication is needed when he wears the FMG cap. AIMHO my thoughts only
