its not about how credible he/someone claims to be, but how credible they are seen by others.

Let's not forget how influencing people in share market is different to influencing people in a democracy. In a democracy you influence one person, you influence one vote. BUT on stock market *generally* the bigger player one is (voting power) the more seasoned and informed they are. Conversely it's likely the less seasoned and less aware are small players with (close to) insignificant holding, even if one tried to round them up, still may not make it to a substantial (5%) holding (believe you me, I have had that challenge when fighting rougue boards).

Another aspects and by the same token, stock market is not a case of "noisy" (let alone minority) having the say.

In conclusion, let the one who makes un-credible claims tear their lungs out. AT THE VERY BEST, they influence the less informed and likely an insignificant percentage of voting power.

However, if they are wiser, their best bet is to be more credible, and which, quality input )positive or negayive) we all appreciate.
