@Chris60 the simple solution: eat less - most people eat way above their needs, above all they eat empty carbs and sugary things - stick to meat and veggies, salads, fruit - one full meal per day, the rest just fruit or even replacement sachet for breakfast from a good weight-loss co.
No food nor alcohol after 6pm - stop the alcohol - and you will sleep well and never have a weight problem again. Try and have breakfast as late as possible - my indulgence: cup of coffee in the morning, but breakfast 9:30h or thereabouts.
If you can, eat a big mixed salad per day - takes a bit of getting used to and some creative mixing of salads, fruit and even spiralised raw vegetables - and a great individualist salad oil/vinegar, grated this and that mix. Plenty of recipes around.
But people will insist on keeping an unhealthy lifestyle going, just hoping for 'the pills' to solve the problem.
