Oh, I'm fully aware of cultural differences. But this is the reality: Their 65,000 years civilisation came to an end 235 years ago. If not the Brits, then someone else. No civilisation survives unless it is economically sustainable.

    There are 3 choices:
    (1) Live on reserves as hunter gatherers with little to no outside interference.
    (2) Assimilate or integrate into the colonial world.
    (3) Live a twilight existence of economic dependence, poor parenting, and the social issues that go with that.

The sad fact is that "they" lost and suffered many a past injustice. But the only sustainable option going forward is (2). The trick is to prosper whilst maintaining as many elements of their culture as possible, as other immigrant cultures have successfully done. Sacrifices, as I mentioned before, will have to be made. There isn't and there never will be a satisfactory, sustainable model for (3).
