No, I have not said that Scott has deliberately misled the market. At this point in time, it is more likely there has been misinterpretation regarding the words "residual fluids" in the Pebbly Arkose. A charge of gas may lead to a residual volatile oil, or if repeated several times, a residual gas condensate fluid or dry gas. Alternatively, gas can move the oil downdip and could be described as culminating in a residual fluid. The concern I have had is that there is an artesian aquifer, which could have the capacity to flood the hydrocarbons out of a layer leaving residual oil or gas, but that would require a non-sealing or partly sealing fault.
