"Hydrogen has been produced from water, without the need of fossil fuels"
But how is the electricity generated to produce hydrogen? There's not enough "green" hydrogen to fuel any market and even if there was, it's just putting another step and more industry into producing fuel that could come directly from solar/wind/whatever. At worst, the infrastructure to fuel an EV is already there in every 1-phase outlet in every building in Austray.
The tiny number of moving parts in an EV reduces the manufacturing, resources and maintenance of them and that also needs to be included in assessing environmental impact.
