Maybe they are trying to prize out any punters in the sidelines to say, this is going to the highest bidder…get your pencils out and start sharpening.
if it pops above $3 today and holds say 3.10-3.15 then that would indicate there are others around. If it holds just under $3 then there is nothing sniffing around. Just my thoughts on it
