Very encouraging session i think... The DSO , although guidance on that has been withdrawn - it seems that it is still possible. It really sounds to me that largely its just a case of dialogue with Mali Govt., as the project proceeds.

Opinion seemed to be that we are going to continue as per our (forgot thee name?) , establishment agreement? and therefore the new mining code does not apply to us - its only for new projects henceforth...

Interesting that (as @WoodySpoon has posted about), that GF will likely be more prominent in dealings with Mali Govt. (regarding their majority holding at project level ) and that is viewed by the company (LLL) as very positive.

One gets the feeling that the Goulamina project is a huge learning curve for Mali Ministry people and Simon referred to us helping them to in effect , build a brand new industry for the country.
