What considerable execution risk are you referring to? The team has executed brilliantly over the years, why would that change now? Besides, I don't see a 20% increase in the offer Goyder himself rejected motivating him to sell now. Apparently, $2.50 was a terrible price for him, and he stated he wanted dividends from the company, implying he had planned to hold for years to come. But a $3 offer was enough for him to forget all that? Does that make any sense to you?
Why would the BOD's age be relevant? They knew how long this mine would take to build and get up to profitability when they took the job, why would a self-reflection period hit them now? Besides, their job is to do what's in the best interest of ALL shareholders, not just themselves.
You should only sell if you're not confident in executing long term success for the company or the price is just too ridiculous to ignore. Neither is true in the case of LTR.
