Politely disagree. There is a $1.1bil difference between $2.50 and $3. This goes to shareholders - not chicken feed.
I'm sure there was a lot of angst over this decision. ALB were clearly persistent. I won't repeat some of the factors at play from my above posts.
It is early days. All this anouncement says we are now in play. Let's see if another offer materialises. At the end of the day shareholders can vote it down.
I hope we do extract another offer. Personally, I see $4 easy here but only if we execute the project well and lithium prices hold up. Even though I believe in both these factors, it doesn't remove the risk. If $3 is the final offer, I will think of what might have been but still be very grateful.
