The important thing is that the required percentages are based on THOSE WHO VOTE.
Shareholders who either do not lodge proxy, not attend meeting or Abstain from a vote are NOT included in the ‘total number of voting shareholders’ to determine if the required 50% & 75% ‘in favour’ votes are achieved.
