Also I'm not sure how they can actually label these procedures as investigation, when the term "investigational" refers to devices which are undergoing clinical trials to become FDA approved/ cleared. All these MIGS devices are FDA approved/cleared though...
I'm not feeling like the MACs have a very strong case against these procedures. The arguments they make lack the same depth, confidence and rigour as seen in proposed LCDs removing coverage for other devices. I guess we will find out soon enough
