I say there is atleast a 20% possibility of
a) SQM and WES counter offer; Looking at the 3x WACC and further downstream returns from vertical integration. There is room here to play with.
b) Independent expert stepping in. The deal will go to court next year sometime in Q2 I assume. If the lithium prices rebound materially by that time perhaps the independent experts will have a stronger view on long term prices. Clearly ~$30 can be challenged.
