When they delist that is when you record the capital loss event, which hopefully should be adjusted by the return of capital payment done before delisting (e.g if bought at 2 c and get back 1.4 c, then on delisting you record a capital loss event of 0.6 cents- these numbers are made up, just came across this co.).
