Investing in the low cap, speculative end of the market, particularly Biotechs, carries the highest risk/reward/ and potential potential for loss.
It’s definitely not suited to many investors and requires a high tolerance to risk, patience and the emotional ability to accept that most of the time your choices don’t work out as you had wished - and accepting your own responsibility in that event.

In my opinion, the key to investing in this area is detailed research into the market potential of the product/technology and a having a board and management that is ethical, hard working and has respect and consideration for their shareholders.
The majority of speculative companies never make to become commercially successful and in many cases it’s not their product or technology potential, but the performance, capability and ethics of the board and management.

On some rare occasions, investors in this area come across a company that has all of the key elements in spades.
I believed that IMU was one of these, if not a once in an investment lifetime opportunity, a very special opportunity.
The possibility to provide a safe and non invasive cure for cancer - who could even imagine that!

Combine that with a management team with great experience and credentials, along with a genuine commitment to deliver through dedication, hard work and with due consideration to all share holders.

I first identified IMU 7 years ago and over 12 months accumulated a tidy holding at an average of about $0.02 per share.
I never sold a share (hindsight says I was stupid non not taking profits at the highs, but I am sure that I am not the only one) and over the last year have done what I never do - averaged up!
I now have doubled my previous holding, but my average cost is now $0.065 per share!
Rather than being disappointed that I missed the chance to sell at the highs, I see that I have been given the opportunity to significantly increase my holdings at breakeven.
We have achieved some remarkable success since I first invested in IMU and I believe that we are only at the start, of what in my opinion, has a great chance of becoming one of the greatest breakthroughs in the modern history of medicine.

Some people believe that the “market “ is always right - I believe that’s bull….!
I my opinion, for IMU to have been traded back to these levels is totally unjustified, particularly considering what they have already achieved and giving due consideration to the risk that is still involved in gaining the ultimate success - a commercially viable cure for all cancers!

All this is obviously all in my opinion only, but I have again put my money where my mouth is.
For the sake of not only IMU investors, but the many that experience the suffering that a cancer diagnosis currently brings, I hope that I have made the right decision.
