This is a nice perspective. You come across very experienced and wise.
I want to talk about the "armchair CEO's" you mention.
Yes everyone who has paid a penny for SYA stock has a right and has their little place in the realm to say what they feel.
Ive never criticised a genuine complaint from those holders ive come to know over the past 18 months, who have a genuine concern - except the obvious downies, of course.
Anyone i feel sitting on a loss right now has their right to be a bit bewildered or upset. The future is always uncertain and SYA has not done what so many believed it should have done over the last year or so. Just have a look at Shag's 2023 "guess the share price" competition.
I certainly dont consider myself an armchair CEO though. I give as good as i get.
Im a Project Engineer (i identify as a psychologist tho, lol) and some of my customers include the likes of MRL, PLS, CXO, LTR among many other miners and mining operators.
One of the challenges i have been dealing with recently is dealing with the tough characteristics of Lithium mining. It's destroying equipment like you wouldnt believe. I'm developing new liner kits and wear applications for miners in this industry, that optimise performance, reduce weight, increase safety and also reduce shutdown periods. The developments include the design, the weldability, the durability, equipment choice, laser and automated wear applications and also research from blast fragmentation all the way to the R.O.M pad.
I have forwarded some of our recent developments and applications (all of my company's I.P, of course - not customers... i know the rules) onto the team at SYA in line to Fournier and Fils and also politely said they can contact me by email if they would like to see any more innovations.
Ive never mentioned it before, but i mention it now because i dont want to be in that category of those that only have time to complain - i have utilised some of my time to try and help our company where i can, no matter how big or small the contribution might be.
I still have my doubts, but there have been a couple of good posts today that have changed the complexion of things and as long as they are true, i wod hope we see some kind tail-winds soon.
