as the original naysayer on the chn forum, i'm not going to repeat anything i've said years ago, (observations that have now been well covered here by others).

i started from the premise that chn had used well honed pr practices, of selective release of information and misinformation to exagerate the value of their prospect and their own staff abilities... and here we are again with a ss that continues exactly the same mo.

with all the talk about containing the proposed mine within privately owned farmland, does anyone else think it strange that there is not a single map showing that farmland and the way the proposed mine infrastructure would sit on the land? no diagrams of the proposed waste dumps, or tailings dams in relationship to the avon river etc...in my opinion this is deliberate non disclosure to avoid showing who the unlucky neighbours will be... so... deception to shareholders and locals.

my own back of envelope calculations indicate a life of mine waste dump 300,000,000 cubic metres, measuring about 4000m by 7000m with a height of 20m...(the local authorities will put height limits on waste dumps)...i cant say wether it's achievable or rediculous because they dont give enough information...do they intend to cart waste off site, how far and how many trucks a day using what route.

and water supply they are very secretive about where this 50km pipeline is going to carry water from...ok... they appease the locals by saying they dont intend to draw water from the mine site...are they going to pipe saline water from the coast, it works for hot chille..but will it work for locals.

they avoid the need for on site accomodation by saying 500 workers will drive in and out every day...that's some massive car parks.

any kind of studies or announcements where they leave out information and dont tell you why they left it out in my opinion is deliberately deceptive, this is a half baked study by a company that has no intention of being anywhere near julimar when the dirt starts to fly because they wouldn't know how to deal with it.

if it comes to class actions in the future it would be a case of showing that certain staements were deliberately deceptive which would be a very hard task.
