This has become a debacle.

It's more than that however - it shows that the cost of justice is prohibitive in this country with our legal system and the preventions in law we have from much larger payouts being awarded for damage.

The fact is if people had their time again its likely the women affected by these implants would not have found any representation, because representing them in Australia has basically tied SHJ up for a decade and left them walking away with a loss.

Investigation may prove that management made key errors in the handling of the case which cost money but tbf at the moment there's nothing serious to point to accept the ability of our Justice system to let the big boys make being brought to account by private citizens a very hard thing to do.

Disappointing scenario.
