Regardless of how the story of Jesus resinates with each individual, what we do know, maybe, is that Jesus taught for about 12 months or so. It is believed by many that He was teaching for about 3 years but the timelines suggest that 12 months was more likely. Either way is neither here nor there.
He had at best a handful of followers and was all but unrecorded by the Roman authorities who were utterly anal about recording everything that went on in their jurisdiction. The story of the events surrounding Jesus do not tally with Roman records. Most of His life story was borrowed from characters from the OT and transposed onto Jesus as is the way of Midrashic Jewish tradition.
He was a Jew, so dark Arabic in appearance, the average height back then was a little over 5 feet tall.
The miracles were spiritual, when he cured a leper, He cured a person of the spiritual sickness that was like having spiritual leprosy. When He raised the dead it was the spiritually dead. When He healed the crippled it was a spiritually crippled person who He healed so that they walked towards God.
No paintings or statues because Jesus was all but unknown in His lifetime.
