I understand your sentiment.... Im waiting to trade Volatility again but im not getting it & i should be *?* There will always be gremlins in every major company. Funds as i believe at the moment from everybody i talk to and from what i read on money markets are concentrating on the top 50 more so than anything else...so that indicates to me risk is not the trend lets say to be fair... Im not big on the Trend Is Friend thesis although it has its place. One more rate rise and holding those pricing mechanisms is possibly prudent but the consumer outlook is woeful. Actually its TERRIBLE. SEPT & OCT is a nightmare for a trader as we fight againts historical hysteria of the old trading days of school holidays so we all went on holidays with our families and volumes and prices stagnated if not fell, now those days are gone the sentiment is still impregnated in the markets mindset. Actually it was the chalkies that went on holidays and us traders could not do anything...we would even play cards on the floor...it was nuts... Telstra i think did the right thing by not selling Assets. AI can be a huge bolt on for the business as long as management are proactive and they are not idiots...they know very well what they need to do, but its a huge ship to turn around in a competitive market...although a good MOAT...if TPG offload those Assets, i think they will slowly disappear by being carved up as Vulture Capitalists do when they buy ANYTHING.... Thats the way i see it... All the best with what you buy & sell
