Just like mine where my understanding of my solar array and its personal use and inputs into the national grid, my collection of cordless tools, my ebike and my electric lawnmower have specific cost / benefit analyses for me. just as my diesel and petrol equipment and my generally hydro powered grid supply.

A note worth considering for discussion is that I have a closer than most, understanding of the new energy grid and its implication through direct impact as an about to be AEMO land participant, let alone taxpayer and capital funding supplier in to one particularly large AEMO project, have associates with pending Wind farm developments, also as participants in the Carbon Credit Scheme and am a believer in the "concepts of green energy"m and have friends and acquaintances with EVs.
I also engage with those people in a style quite different to "the Nut" where I listen and understand alternate views pertinent to the provision and use of 'alternate' energies. Just not Chris Bowen's and Malcolm Turnbull like.
There is a lack of acceptance by some on this forum of the admitted overreach by govts across the globe in their transformation policies.
