I think we're outside the top 20 in market cap now, but still officially a member of the ASX20. Not sure. I can't believe the share price weakness. The selling has been relentless. We're totally out of favour with investors and brokers. A big reversal from 12 months ago. I'm not bothered at all I could triple my holding if the price goes lower and wouldn't feel over-exposed to South32.

@Ashentegra what are your thoughts on the FY result? I haven't seen you here since before the result announcement and always appreciate your opinion on S32's performance.

I suspect acquiring the Khoemacao site will require paying well over the odds. GK and team likely realised it early on. There will be some stupid bids upwards of $2b. Let it go.

I wonder if they would look at something out of left field (non base metals) like graphite, cobalt or uranium, or a near-production nickel project (just for example). Hopefully anything but lithium. A lot of commodities have been smashed this year and those stocks are out of favour; although the copper price has held up comparatively well.
