I should clarify that I’m not implying POx is part of AZS’s flowsheet, it is for Hemi as the oxidised ores near surface are refractory in nature so their flowsheet requires POx - kept a lid on the DEG stock for 6 months until met analysis and a PFS calmed investor concerns. A POx plant is expensive capex.

from my layman’s understanding Spod only ever requires DMS or Flotation, no POx. DMS is the cheapest in the flowsheet, but requires coarser Li crystals in the peg - one of the reasons investors like visuals of the cores
