Could you please elaborate a bit more about why these current shorters want to accumulate as many shares as possible while driving down the share prices!
I believe that one way the shorters could close out short positions is through participation in a well timing institutional placement, provided that the placement price is lower than their shorting prices, thus returning all the borrowed short shares for a profit!
