Since when is the static water in an aquifer 200m below ground more important than surface water, our soil, food and the air we breathe every day?

I can see the headline and press stories now:
"Politicians and other Authorities encourage poison water, soil & air".
Authorities deem it fit and acceptable for stock and humans to drink toxins & breathe poison gases emitted by local power stations, at service stations, in traffic, Greens cars, trucks and tractors.

The petroleum industry now has to provide gas masks for all stock and humans until the earths atmosphere are clear of toxins. Industry must pay $1700 trillion in air clean up and provide pure oxygen for all citizens.

Residence of planet Earth have demanded sophisticated water purification in every work place, home, feedlot and farm starting at a cost of $2,000 per domestic unit until water is again fit for human and animal consumption.

Tobacco companies have to provide gas masks in open air shopping locations. The fertilizer & chemical companies have been found guilty, by the media, of gross surface water & soil contamination. A class action has now been instigated by concerned citizens who have consumed food in the past 40 years and farmers have been included in the litigation chain for applying said toxins to food crops.

Concerned politicians are now worried because there is an election and have decided to back the claims which are tipped to send us back to the stone age where we belong. In a statement by Bob Brown he said this was alway his dream.
