I know someone on the Gold Coast who recently spent time in hospital because of dog bite received protecting a dog grabbed and strangled by a staffy. Leave cats alone their are way less of them than there used to be ...more's the pity!

I'm sure your male cat is much different to any other male cat which roams ?

If mice and rats are a problem then firstly you should clean the joint up, and secondly get traps or ratsak.
