Why was this ever a priority for the government when the the community is bleeding with cost of living issues and lack of housing??

Absolutely defies logic and poor timing.

Shows how completely and utterly out of touch the Left is with the average voter.

Indigenous communities NEVER asked for this at all. It was foistered upon them by inner city radicals and political activists.
