The Prime Minister's trip to China will be interesting.
There is some cause for optimism (hope?) on wine tariffs. These have been in place for 3 years now and usually that is about an average length of time for them to return to business as usual when they attempt to dish out these kinds of punishments. There is also the fact that China is really hurting at the moment and that might persuade their government to remove the tariffs because it costs them nothing (no one in their right mind drinks Chinese wine) and might help them to improve relationships.
This is all conjecture though. As a result, I only loaded up on TWE at modest prices. If the tariffs remain, the share price seems unlikely to fall much from here. If they are removed, most likely the share price will bounce upward.
The stock seems to be a nice conservative buy with potentially some nice upside.
