I find your post confusing and
    alarming.
I have always considered that the weather
wherever it is- Sydney or not,
would be TOTALLY RELEVANT to global averages and warming.

    As for hottest three months....
I happened to have experienced the coldest winter for some years in my locale.
Also, The last three summers were incapable ( less warm) of fruiting my tomatoes as normal.

    Not just my conception.
The kilowatt hrs used on my winter energy account confirms this.
Interesting positions we hold on the same matter.

Note: I don't consider my locale nor Sydney's to be a base indicator for Global Boiling measurements.
Nor do I consider comparative measurements of Melb or Sydney's concrete jungles of today with temp measurements at their founding.

I'm denying nothing about long term v. short term v. geological term temp/ climate variations that others believe.

I am denying the sense, of frightening the dacks off youngsters less accustomed to scammers, sheisters and alarmists with a vested interest and by that rent seeking,
their way to energy, economic and geopolitical destruction.
