May I suggest you read CSIRO's text more carefully.
BTM (and MTX) was developed by NovoSkin, (80% owned PNV JV) using the NovoSorb platform tech.
The BTM device, as you know it, largely resulted from work performed in 2009-2010 (see below) under Calzada.
