In 10 days time the AAL Moon will arrive in Singapore. Going by the journey so far, a destination for the next leg will be given when it departs there for it’s final destination.
If it is to China, that won’t tell us much, as they have a large number of refineries that supply to just about all battery makers anywhere in the world.
If the final destination is to South Korea or Japan, we can probably assume it is going there for a specific reason. That reason could be to qualify the material for certification acceptable to the US and European markets.
I would think, South Korean or Japanese refiners (if there are any) would have to pay a premium to draw them away from the Chinese.
