    I’ve always considered it to be very important, research into alternative non finite fuel resources.

    I will assume that you think I’m anti renewables, I’m definitely not anti renewables and I’m very pro scientific research into looking for alternatives to using our finite resources.

    My issue is that we are committing to a path that isn’t capable of supplying the needs of today and definitely not our future needs.
    The science is unproven.
    The costs are extreme to say the least.
    Plus the new technology is even more finite resource hungry than the cheap and reliable technology that we have been using.

    If the numbers stacked up for the alternatives, I would be a believer too.

    Perhaps I’m more of a realist than a pessimistic wishful thinker, like your good self.
